Lawyer by profession but with the passion for baking pastry, I followed my dreams as a hobby and prepared myself to be a chef and later on took a high pastries course where I learned the processes as you can see in our video section… While I was working as a lawyer, I continued taking courses in the art of cakes, because I realized that even after a long working day, baking cakes made me have so much pleasure.


After my family and I moved to Cancun Mexico, I decided to make my dream come true and I opened a small Project called Karolina’s Bakery, a small pastry shop in the heart of Cancun city.

With time, I kept on learning and specialized myself in wedding cakes, events, pastry tables and fondant cakes. I found out that wedding cakes were my favorites. I found out that Wedding cakes and dessert tables design were my favorite because I have the opportunity of being creative, original and be surprised by the unlimited possibilities of expressing colors and textures I can keep working for hours doing the perfect designs, its like going into a meditation state, like if I could feel every detail.

That’s how Doux Mélange is created, our focus is wedding cakes and pastry tables in Cancun and the Riviera Maya, without forgetting of course about sweet 16, birthdays, themed parties and those events that are relevant in your life.
